Computer: IBM Thinkpad R31 (arrrghhh!)
OS: Windows XP Professional, Fedora Core 2 Linux
Connection: 56k modem and 10Mbit Ethernet
Total amount of hard drive space: 30gigs (apparently)
Total amount of free hard drive space: 5GB on my Windows Partitions, about 2GB on the Linux one, and 4GB currently unallocated
RAM: 376MB
Processor: Intel Celeron 1.06Ghz
In your CD drive(s) right now: Civ II, for some unknown reason
Browser: Mozilla 1.6 (both Windows and Linux)
Livejournal client: Semagic (Windows)... I'm still trying to get one to work in Linux
IRC client: I don't use IRC
FTP Client: SmartFTP
Email: Outlook Express (Windows), Mozilla Mail (Linux)
Spyware remover: None. I'm just careful about what I install. =:P Well, I do have AdAware's setup file and install it every once in a while to check, but I uninstall it again afterwards.
Virus detection: Norton Antivirus 2002
Instant Messenger: MSN
Mp3 player: Windows Media Player (Windows), MPlayer (Linux)
Graphics editor: Paint Shop Pro 7 (Windows), Linux... you even need to ask =;)
HTML editor: Notepad or Sothink HTML Editor
Movie player: Windows Media Player or Realplayer (Windows), MPlayer (Linux)
p2p: K-Lite (Kazaa minus Spyware =:P)
Text editor: Notepad (Windows), KWrite (Linux)
Game systems: Master System, Mega Drive (Genesis to the Americans), Game Boy Color
What's inside each of them: How the hell should I know. They're all miles away! =:o
On the TV (card): Nothing now (Windows), Perpetually Nothing (Linux)
In the CD Player: Watership Down Series CD (My 2004 burn)
Printer: Lexmark Z25
Scanner: Mustek 600CP (CP Presumably being an abbreviation of 'crap')
CD drives: 24x internal. Then there's an 8x DVD drive, and an old 4x4x32 CD-RW, both IDE drives, but I connect them to the laptop through a USB2 adaptor.
Mouse: IBM Thinkpoint (Which I've finally managed to stop going screwy in Linux)
Firewall: Dont have one at the moment. There was something in the T&C for the network that says we can't have our own personal firewall, as we're protected by the uni. I'll probably stick Zonealarm back on once I get home.
Windows folder size: 1.96GB... ouch!
