Jun. 19th, 2004 03:31 pmOoh, that was a bit unexpected. Mozilla 1.7 is now out. I say unexpected, as it was still 1.6 about 2 days back, with no blaringly obvious indication the new version was just around the corner. I've already downloaded and installed it, mainly because I'm hoping it corrects an irritating bug from 1.6 where trying to use the back button to go back to a page you've just been on, it sometimes brings up the 'something something can not be found. Please check the name and try again.' dialog, and you have to type the address in manually to get it to work again. =:S

Hmm... I cant wait to test that one out. Perhaps it'll be the start of persuading the site developers that these scripts are nothing but an annoyance for honest visitors, and do nothing to protect their content. =:)

Date: 2004-06-19 08:45 am (UTC)No doubt, as Mozilla and FireFox have that very handy 'Page Info' box that gives you a list of all external files used by the page with a button to save any of them to disk. I find it an easy way to save Flash files embedded in a page, too.
