I wish UMIST's Computation Department would hurry up and send out the results. It was supposed to be last weekend... then early this week... and the latest news it that they're going to start sending them out next week now. =:\ From what I hear just about every other department in the Uni has sent out theirs, but not Computation.
On a slightly more cheerful note, I discovered my outgoing BACS payments through my account are working. Not exciting news in itself, but the name displayed on the statement for the account it went into displays the words -
- Burridge Mr T/Stud
We-ll... *coughs* I'm presuming stud is just an abbreviation of Student, but you'd have thought someone who set up RBS's system would have used a slightly different abbreviation (sdnt?)
I also finally managed to get my paws on this little thing. For anyone who can't read the writing on the photo (quite probable, seeing as this camera is so poor), it's the Master System converter to allow MS games to be played on the Megadrive (Genesis for you US-ians). I always wanted this thing back when it was first out, but never actually found anywhere that sold them. Okay, so considering I already have a real Master System, it's a bit of a redundant thing to buy, but it was cheap enough. =:)
(Addendum: The exam results finally turned up on the 14th. I've posted in detail about them in a friends only post, but for those not on my friends list, all I'll say is I passed. =:))
