Sep. 17th, 2004 09:50 amWow! To my amazement and complete and utter disbelief, I've just checked the email this morning to find out Parcel Force have indeed refunded my money. I -could- go ahead and rebook a delivery, but I think on balance it'd be worth paying the extra to go back on the train and pick everything up myself.
I also got a text message to my mobile this morning too telling me the phoneline was now active, though they hadn't managed to contact me on it. Sadly the reason for this is that the line is still dead. I'm going to have to ring BT again about it I guess, though thankfully they included the phonenumber to call if the line isn't working in that welcome text. I just hope we aren't going to have to pay £75 to have new wiring put in the house. =:(
(Edit 12.30pm - According to BT, it's a fault before the line enters the house, so an engineer will be fixing it within the next 24-48 hours)
