Sep. 18th, 2004 03:01 pmWoo! *bounces* The phoneline is working in the house, so I'm now able to access the net from the comfort and privacy of my own bedroom. =:) It also means I should be able to get on late at night and early in the mornings again, though obviously I still have to share between the two others. (Edit 3.25 - Though when I think about it, both the line and 56k ISP are actually in my name, and in the case of the ISP paid for wholly by me. Hmm.... =:P) Broadband will follow shortly to sort that one out. Hmm... No, even the sound of some guys next door drilling, hammering and shouting on isn't going to bother me. =:)
(Edit 2 3.25pm - And the BT Engineer just called me back on my mobile to check this minute that the line is now working properly. I certainly can't fault BT over how they handled all this. =:))

Date: 2004-09-18 04:14 pm (UTC)Mmmm, a house to onesself is nice. And even when not, you probably don't have a one year old toddler around.. *sigh* (Why are human babies always so noisy? You wouldn't catch a red panda making such a reliable racket! Then again, from my experiences at zoos, that's not a trait strictly limited to the young of the species)
Come to that, is there a good zoo somewhere in/near Manchester?
