More reasons to shop at Asda: When you're feeling stressed and are having to wait in a queue at the till, they'll play Art Garfunkel's Bright Eyes, and suddenly everything will be better. :)

Even those two pieces of coursework set today (well, I missed one of them, hohum) don't seem too bad anymore. =:)

ASDA is a truely cruel shopping experience. I wish they played that when *I* queued for stuff.

They do seem to have some interesting choices here.. two which I can particularly recall are Space's "Female of the Species" (Austin Powers II) and an uptempo remix of "Mad World" (Donnie Darko).

When do we reach Momus' "Angels are Voyeurs"? ^_^

All this talk of rabbits reminds me I've several episodes of Tiny Toon Adventures unwatched. Time to remedy that!

At least they play music that wasn't made solely to be played in supermarkets...unlike my local Tesco. Grr. :)

I wonder how this is decided upon? Maybe Tesco uses a central feed (like many radio stations in the US - it's no accident that similar stations in different parts of the US sound quite so much the same), and Asda leaves it to the manager? Or maybe, despite being part of the mighty evil that is the WalMart empire, they have people with some fun taste in music setting the playlist..

(Oddly, I don't actually recall any music in the last few Tesco branches I've visited. Maybe your teeth just have very good reception? :)
