This post... one year in the making...
Aug. 18th, 2004 09:08 pmOoh, we just had a lovely thunderstorm up here. Quite nasty thunder and lightning, to the extent I even went offline for a bit (wow, thing's must be bad =;)). I don't even recall asking for this one to be sent, but it was much appreciated. =:)
Normally on August the 18th, I do lots of big website updates all on the same day, or at least that's what's happened the last two years. This year has been scaled back a bit, partly because I haven't been up to major web stuff lately (hence my quietness too), and partly because I haven't had many ideas. I did manage to get the long awaited (*cough*) Revision 11 overhaul of TV Whirl online though, still complete with it's flaky Mac IE support. There is one slightly more important significance of this date this year though. It's exactly a year to this day since I first announced unto the general public I am a fur. Well... okay, not so much announced, as I'm not one for doing big announcements, but quietly slipped it into my Livejournal profile. It's amazing to think just how much has changed in my life during this past year, more than could ever be summed up by a simple entry in this here LJ. As for what's going to happen in the next year... well that much remains a mystery, so I guess I'll just have to take whatever is thrown at me. =:)
