Confuzzled 2008
Jun. 25th, 2008 07:44 pmAs you're probably sick to the back teeth of hearing alllll about it on Livejournal and how amazing it was...
... I'm now going to tell you all over again! First furry con I've been to, the first one to be held properly in the UK, and it was a blast. It took me a bit of time to find the place on Friday, but once there there was no looking back. The events came off largely smoothly, and some of the talent of the fursuiters there was amazing (I renew my vows to get a fursuit =:P). Some of the stage events had me nearly wetting myself with the laughter too, and as well as a lot of new faces, it was nice to see some old ones turn up (Like Arakin and Tryst, neither of whom I've seen in about 2 years!).
The worst part was how quickly it all flew by really, but then I think that's something that can be expected about any great event. This has certainly been a warmer up for the big one in August at EF, and I look forwards to being able to go to Confuzzled again next year (though if they have the same number of places I have a feeling it's going to be well in demand). I'm proud to have been one of the sponsor members on an event so many cynics were determined wouldn't happen!
For a preview video of just some of the stuff, MikePaws has already put something online at:-
