Chester Meet!

I may have acquired some sunburn from it, but even so what an awesome day out in Chester. Time was spent at the zoo, with me getting to chat with a member of the zoo staff who seemed incredibly knowledgeable on Watership Down. When someone says 'you must be incharge as you've got a badge with Rah on it. That's from Watership Down isn't it. He was the one who was blessed by the sun god'... you have to admit they know their stuff!' o.o (Mind I wasn't in charge, no one was really, we just organised things ourselves... and we weren't all rabbit-lovers like she thought =:P)

This was also the first time I've done anything particularly arty on a large scale. It was the intention that *everyone* there should have received one of the following T-Shirts, as I had a batch of them done up, just to do something a bit nice and different for people for a change. ^^ In the end, there were so many folks there, I actually ran out! =:o To think Chester had an infamous reputation for being the meet with only 2 people there one time!



Oddly this is also the first thing I've done artwise since way back in August 2005. Whilst it may not be perfect (I was pushed for time as it had to go off to print by last Sunday), it's something I'm still proud of, and will be on the site soon (perhaps around some point next month).

I'm afraid the feline was not naked in the end... =:P

Many thanks again for the t-shirt! I've not put mine on yet, but likely will tomorrow. It's actually my first furry-related t-shirt, so it's kind of special for me. :)

The thing I want to mention about that member of zoo staff is that she managed the impossible: she got a large(ish) group of furries all moving in the same direction with a purpose! I missed the bit about watership down, but if I'd heard it I'd have recommended some sort of reward or pay raise for her to her boss. :)

There's a half nude rabbit on my badge there in Chester (if you can open the photo), if it helps compensate. No you'll never catch me completely naked! =:P
