I wonder if I should be a bit concerned when someone on my LJ friends list suddenly has 'this journal is now in memorial status' appear on their account.... o.o

I didn't even know such a status existed until I dug around in support about it.

Edit: As mentioned in the comments this refers to thrennion, and it is indeed tragic news. We've not really chatted much in recent years (go back quite a few more from Watership Down connections), but it always really affects you when something like this comes completely unexpectedly.

Yeah that is who it was. Have to admit it's the first time I've ever seen something like that, and I was rather hoping it was just someone who'd left, but that is terrible news to read. Thanks for mentioning what has happened, just wish it was something less serious. =:(

I wish I could think of more to say really, but I don't think there's much that can be said when something terrible like this happens. =:( *hugs* News like this just catches you so offguard, and makes me worry about everyone else even more now!

*Hugs* I just don't believe this has happened. Not in the way it has. I know what you mean - nothing like this has ever happened to anyone I've known either.

I'm just grateful for canadanne mentioning it, as terrible as the news is. There's a lot of folks who've disappeared from online over the years and it does worry me a bit to think if anything does happen to any of them I'd probably never know. =:(
